When to book
The best time to book your newborn photographer is during pregnancy, ideally in your second or third trimester, so you can secure your spot before baby arrives. Most newborn sessions take place within the first 5–14 days when babies are sleepiest, making it easier to capture those sweet, snuggly newborn moments without the stress of last-minute planning.
Due Date
I know things happen, which is why I only schedule so many sessions a month. If baby is early, late, or is visiting the NICU, I just ask that you reach out and we will come up with a plan together.
What do I bring
I try to make this as easy and stress free for families as possible. I provide all of the props, newborn wraps, and cute outfits needed for the session. If you have a special item you want included, you will want to let me know beforehand and bring it the day of the session.
You will need to bring diapers, pacifier, bottled milk for quick feedings, wipes, clothes for family portraits, water, and snacks.

what do i wear
The best thing to wear, in general, are neutrals, blacks, and light pastel colors. These photograph best because they are non-distracting and bring the focus to your face rather than your outfit. They also cause minimal (if any) color casting. A color cast is when a color reflects onto something, changing its color. For example, if you are wearing a neon pink shirt and snuggle your baby close to you, you will see neon pink reflected on your baby’s face.
How to book
Complete the inquiry above and I will email you with tentative dates within the preferred 5-14 day timeline, information for how to pay the 50% retainer, which is due upon booking.
The remaining fee is due 24 hours prior to the session date.
I will also send you a questionnaire to complete prior to the session to ensure I have the correct colors and details ready prior to your arrival along with a session guide.
your images
About 2-3 weeks after your session, you will receive access to your images in a beautiful online gallery. You can easily view, share, and download your favorite images from the gallery.
